For new private clients only. Five (5) in-person 50-minute private Reformer Pilates sessions are offered on-site at a vineyard in Moraga, California.
This promo is intended to help the instructor gain familiarity with the client's goals, needs, and body, while providing the client with introductory lessons on the Pilates reformer.
Private 1:1 sessions are ideal for clients who are looking for personalized programming. Private Reformer sessions provide greater accountability, precision and support.
Pilates, called "Contrology" by Joseph Pilates, is a mind-body exercise focused on core strength, flexibility, and mindful movement.
There are various versions of "Pilates" taught today. If you have taken a class before, the experience might be very different with another studio or teacher. Small Steps approaches Pilates from the holistic health perspective of the whole-person framework, and encourages clients to listen to and trust their own bodies.
Pilates is fun, which is critical because the greatest benefits of exercise come from consistent small steps!
No experience needed. Just arrive in comfortable clothing and grip socks.

I don't like to exercise very much so I've spent most my adult life avoiding it. However, my introductory mat and reformer sessions with Sara have me rethinking those life choices. Both sessions were challenging but unlike most workouts, genuinely engaging; I found myself actually wanting to progress to the next position and try executing the movements and stretches as best I could. Sara is a very good and patient instructor, making it easy for even a lazy novice to quickly acclimate to the physical rigors of Pilates.
If Small Steps had a 'like & subscribe' button, I would smash that thing with my forehead. If you like to exercise in general, try Small Steps. If you require workouts in a picturesque setting, try Small Steps. If you think you hate exercise, definitely try Small Steps.
